The Graduate Diploma in Arts course is designed for those who hold a tertiary qualification in a non-theological discipline and who wish to pursue a graduate qualification in the broad area of theology, or who are seeking skills in theological or related studies, to enhance their knowledge and skills. This graduate entry award allows a graduate from a non-theological area to learn content and develop skills in the areas of biblical, applied and systematic theology, and related areas, such as Christian education, counselling, ministry and missions. It also provides a vehicle for graduates in theology to extend their reach of knowledge and skills into other conceptual or applied areas of theology or in the related fields of ministry, mission, counselling and education, to complement their existing knowledge. The Graduate Diploma of Arts course could articulate into a Master of Theology or Master of Ministry degree where a student would be able to extend their studies at an advanced level.
