Bachelor of Arts

The three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) provides students with a broad, flexible education that allows students to develop, understand, and disseminate knowledge, to think critically, and to build on these abilities and understandings as a Christian thinker. Utilising this educational base an undergraduate is able to specialise in areas of expertise through further graduate studies or be well equipped to take up employment opportunities in the broader community, as well as in Christian organisations. Employers will benefit from graduates who have a broad educational experience, strong values based personal philosophies and who are socially aware and responsible.

The majors and minors of this Bachelor of Arts have been designed to articulate into the Graduate Diploma in Education for those students who wish to train as secondary teachers.

Since the goal of the BA is to provide a broad, flexible education, it includes opportunities for students to develop broad philosophical and theoretical frameworks as well as the development of task-specific skills and outcomes.
