Responsbilities of the College

The College seeks to provide the best possible learning environment and opportunities for each student, and is responsible to:

  • define entry standards and requirements, and seek to ensure that students meet the prescribed entry requirements so that they have a good chance of succeeding in their studies;
  • advise students of the facilities and resources that are available to them;
  • advise research students of the policy on intellectual property arising from their work;
  • inform students of reporting and other requirements;
  • make grievance and appeal processes known to students;
  • ensure that any teachers and supervisors appointed are suitable and appropriately qualified;
  • make details of assessment processes available to students; and
  • make other policy information available to students, including that relating to:

sexual harassment
occupational health safety and welfare
reporting child abuse and neglect
justice, equity, legislation and regulatory requirements
privacy
plagiarism
editing
