Higher Education Commonwealth Supported Places

Tabor Victoria is pleased to announce that a limited number of Higher Education Commonwealth Supported (HECS) Places are available for students in the Graduate Diploma in Education course which commences in 2008.

Students1 who are awarded a Commonwealth Supported Place will have their course fees reduced to $3,900 (from $10,380). They will also be eligible for a 20% discount if they pay the remaining $3,900 in an upfront payment.

To apply for a Commonwealth Supported Place students will need to:

  1. Complete the Tabor Victoria application for the Graduate Diploma in Education and provide all required documentation.
  2. Meet all Victoria Institute of Teaching (VIT) requirements for course entry.
  3. Demonstrate an aptitude for teaching.
  4. Meet any special conditions required by Tabor Victoria.

Successful applicants will not be able to defer their Commonwealth Supported Place to a subsequent year.

Application closing dates for the Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary)

  • First round applications have closed.
  • Second round applications are due on Friday 15th December 2007.
  • Final round applications are due on Friday 11th January 2008.
